This recently-updated information note from Harvard Medical School acknowledges the value of chiropractic in general and spinal manipulation in particular. Endorsement doesn’t come much better than this.
The article highlights that while the mainstay of chiropractic is spinal manipulation, chiropractic care may also include other treatments, including manual or manipulative therapies, postural and exercise education, and ergonomic training (how to walk, sit, and stand to limit back strain). This type of multi-modal approach to care is very familiar to our patients.
