A new look on New Year’s resolutions

Tips to making and achieving your New Year’s resolutions are… back (pardon the pun) on many healthcare blogs, but I resolve to post a new perspective on an old topic.

Of all our ambitions for the year ahead, often our biggest plans and least enduring resolve centers around exercise for weight loss or basic fitness.  Often however, there is one crucial factor overlooked -- is your body healthy enough to achieve these goals?

Over the past year, patients in this office have achieved incredible personal goals.  Ranging from taking up yoga to completing their first half-marathon.  These patients overcame similar limiting factors -- poor joint biomechanics, poor muscle balance and limiting flexibility.

During a patient’s initial consultation, their challenges are identified and their goals are established.  These goals guide their care and help establish an end-point.  Individual treatment plans are designed, and they often include advice or recommendations for the vital role that the patient will have in their care on their own.  Great results can be achieved as a team working together.

It is very gratifying as a health care practitioner to assist patients in improving their quality of life in a short period of time. Our Chiropractic, Naturopathic and Massage Therapy team are here to support you.  What are the goals you would like to achieve this year?  Find out if we can help!
