Should you avoid exercise when you have back pain?

Research has shown that keeping active aids recovery. Pain can easily make us think that we’re doing further damage, but in reality moving helps us get better sooner. Our spines are very strong and we’re made to move!

Of course this is a very general statement. But after a proper assessment and diagnosis of your condition at our North York clinic, movement and correct gentle exercises are often critical to improvement. Check out this great video that talks about pain and exercise.
