Headaches and Back Pain

Worldwide, headache and LBP are among the leading causes of disability. Migraine and tension-type headache each affect more than 10% of the world’s population, with chronic headache impacting 3-4% of adults worldwide. LBP is the most disabling condition on earth. So, are these two conditions associated with each other?

Chronic headache and LBP are traditionally treated separately by experts in chronic pain management settings. This may be a less than ideal approach, especially for patients living with both conditions simultaneously. Chiropractors and other clinicians have noticed this association for years and help many patients by employing a full-spine/body approach to treatment!
