Olympic Level Excitement

In what is unarguably the most positive event to happen in the past two years, the world has come together (virtually at-least) in Japan for the XXXII Olympic Games!

Even if you're not a "sports fan", there is something captivating about watching the Olympics. Of course we feel the thrill when athletes from our country do well. We feel the agony when an athlete, any athlete, is defeated by a narrow margin or by something going awry.

But there is more.
Watching the smoothness and ease of someone performing at their technical or athletic best is enchanting. It's just... so... next level.
The Olympics tend to have more coverage of an athlete's backstory, giving us a glimpse at their personal journey too. Many of these athletes may have next-level genetic gifts and natural abilities. ALL of the athletes have had personal highs and lows, struggles, set-backs, and demons, that they've had to deal with throughout their journey as they inch their way forward to be the best they can be. An Olympic invitation is simply whats down the road of those inch-by-inch gains.

It's these stories we resonate with. We may not all be Olympic athletes, or even athletic at-all.
But everyone has struggles and set-backs. Stories of facing obstacles and navigating challenges, stories of taking on hardship and incremental gains for a larger goal down the road, give us hope and connect us to the bigger picture.

If you could be your best, what would look like? What would it feel like?
Parenting?
Being present?
Your fitness and health?
How about that hobby or activity that just fell to the to the wayside, well.... you don't even know when.

Inch-by-inch you too can make gains. Your road may not lead to the Olympics (maybe it will...). But you too will feel the excitement of an Olympian when you reach the next level of something important in your life.
